Task Objective

The objective of this task is to develop electronic control and optical packaging of silicon photonic SuperSwitch so they can be used in CUbiC system platform. Custom-designed CMOS controller with high voltage MEMS drivers will be developed in the SuperSwitch Controller task. Free-space based fiber array packaging will be developed to provide optical interface to the SuperSwitch.
