Ahmed Abdelrahman

Ahmed Abdelrahman (Sā€™16) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2011 and 2017, respectively. He is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Champaign, IL, USA. From 2011 to 2019, he was a Staff Analog/RF Design Engineer at Si-Ware Systems, Cairo, Egypt, designing high performance LC reference oscillators and RF power delivery transceivers. His current research interests are high-speed coherent electrical/optical communication links and clocking circuits. Mr. Abdelrahman is a two-year recipient of Andrew T. Yang Research and Entrepreneurship Award from the University of Illinois for the period 2020ā€“2022.
