A new leader: Professor Umesh Mishra to become dean of engineering

Umesh Mishra, professor of electrical and computer engineering at UC Santa Barbara, has been named dean of the university’s College of Engineering, an appointment that comes with the Richard A. Auhll Professorship and Dean’s Chair of Engineering.
