Duke to Lead $9M Army Project to Bring Intelligence to Electromagnetic Spectrum Sensing
Congratulations to CUbiC PI Tingjun Chen (Duke University) for being awarded a 6-year, $9M ARO grant on building intelligent RF sensing nodes and networks. He'll serve as the lead PI for the project, with Raytheon participating as a subawardee. The platforms his team has built and the lessons they have learned through CUbiC have provided an important foundation for transforming radio technologies toward future EM awareness and intelligence scenarios.
CUbiC PIs Tingjun Chen (Duke University) and Yasaman Ghasempour (Princeton University) are also participating in the Inducing Cyber and Physical Effects in Unmanned Aerial Systems via Cyber-Electromagnetic Convergence (ICE-CEM) center. Their work will contribute to developing the foundational science needed to engineer and build systems to counter unmanned aerial attacks.
